Indoor and Outdoor Tennis

The Tennis Centre boasts 3 outside courts and two superb heated indoor courts. The indoor complex is built of brick and steel to championship standards. It is insulated with quilt for winter and summer play, that is warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

The indoor surface is of supreme carpet; it is soft on the feet with true bounce and a medium to fast playing surface. The roof of the building has been designed to enable daytime play in natural light. For evenings and night time, the powerful Osram 680Harrier artificial lights come into service to give perfect vision to the players.

Apart from the tennis courts...

After your game you can enjoy a drink in the bar area, which overlooks the indoor courts. Eugene will often be available to assist in the inevitable 'post-mortem' analysis of your match.

The Tennis Centre's lounge area offers comfortable seating, music, widescreen television and table tennis for a relaxed social atmosphere.

If you are a party of eight or more then the whole facility can be booked out to you for breakfast, lunch or supper parties, with a range of hot and/or cold food available by arrangement. Please contact us for further details.

The Pro-shop offers 24 hours racket restringing and stocks a large range of Fischer Tennis Rackets. New and second-hand rackets are available on a 'try before you buy' basis on the premises. A wide range of other tennis equipment including tennis balls, bags and grips are always on sale.
